During her slower summers, Amanda found joy in restoring Victorian homes, reviving their history and character one room at a time. Nick, meanwhile, was quietly perfecting his craft, turning beautiful, solid woods into custom kitchen doors and cabinets with care and precision.

Early on, Amanda often expressed frustration at the lack of authentic sources for period-matched cabinetry—pieces that captured the quality and charm of the early 1900s. Nick didn’t just meet that challenge—he elevated it, blending traditional craftsmanship with his own modern touches. In the process, they discovered a shared vision, mutual respect, and, eventually, a deep connection. It was a perfect pairing of hearts and hands.
